Established in 1978, UPC Group began its journey with the founding of its parent company, Union Paper Cartons Co., Ltd. (UPC) — a trusted manufacturer of corrugated boards and cartons. Over the decades, UPC has earned widespread recognition across various industrial sectors for its consistent quality and customer-focused service. To expand its capabilities and better serve customers, UPC launched three key subsidiaries:
- U-Thai Cartons Co., Ltd. (1986)
- Quality Cartons Co., Ltd. (1989)
- Union Carton Industry Co., Ltd. (1991)
These companies were established to enhance product quality, improve service standards, and offer more competitive pricing. In 1993, UPC diversified into the paper manufacturing sector by founding United Paper Co., Ltd., specializing in high-grade kraft linerboard and corrugated medium paper. Today, United Paper supplies both the UPC Group and other corrugated packaging manufacturers domestically and internationally. In 1994, UPC expanded into offset printed packaging with the launch of Mac Print & Pack Co., Ltd., offering high-quality printed cartons. Furthering its international collaborations, in 1997 UPC entered a joint venture with a subsidiary of Oji Paper Co., Ltd., Japan's largest paper manufacturer. This partnership led to the establishment of Oji Interpack Co., Ltd., producing advanced 5- and 7-layer corrugated packaging under the HIPLE-ACE brand, utilizing A-flute structures. Additionally, UPC Group offers plastic blister packaging solutions through RT Pack Co., Ltd., ensuring a complete range of packaging products tailored to meet the diverse needs of our clients. At UPC Group, we are committed to delivering integrated, high-quality, and cost-effective packaging solutions for businesses of all sizes—locally and globally.
